What you'll learn and practice: High-quality Adult/Child/Infant CPR with pulse checks One-rescuer and two-rescuer sequences and team dynamics AED use and special situations (pacemakers, water, hair, meds patches) Bag-mask ventilation and pocket mask use Opioid-associated emergencies (overview of naloxone) Choking relief for responsive/unresponsive patients Format & length: Skills-focused, scenario-based training with real-time feedback Typical duration: about 2.5–4 hours (varies by class size and renewal vs. initial) What’s included: All manikins, AED trainers, barrier devices, and bag-mask equipment Mobile/on-site option—we come to your facility (evenings & weekends available) Digital participant materials & quick-reference guide Requirements & accessibility: No prerequisites; new and renewal students welcome Hands-on skills require compressions/ventilations; accommodations available please tell us in advance, verify acceptance with your facility if needed This training meets BLS requirements for many employers; OSHA standards Certification: American Red Cross BLS e-card Issued same day or within 24 hours after successful skills and knowledge assessment Valid per ARC guidelines (typically 2 years)—confirm with your employer or program.
